Seamless.AI Review (2026)
Real-time contact search that builds lists as you browse, on a credit that buys a phone number and an email together at an unpublished price.
Seamless.AI in Depth
The pricing page contains a sentence about prices that are not on it. It says the prices shown reflect an annual discount. No prices are shown.
Pro says Contact sales. Enterprise says Contact sales. The free plan gives one user fifty credits. That is the complete published pricing of a company whose product is finding other people's contact details.
The credit is the best defined in the category and the worst priced
One credit buys a phone number and an email address together. The FAQ puts it plainly: a credit is used when the product researches a contact to find their emails, phone numbers and insights.
Set that against Lusha, reviewed on this site the same week, which charges one credit for an email and five for a phone number. On definitions alone, one credit here is worth six there.
That would be a decisive advantage if both halves of the comparison existed. Lusha's credit computes to between 10.6 and 12.5 cents at list, so a phone number and an email together cost about seventy cents. Seamless.AI's credit is worth six of Lusha's and costs an amount nobody outside the company can state.
The question Google attaches to this product
Eight results come back on the pricing query. Seamless.AI holds two of them. SalesIntel, Amplemarket, Cleanlist, Lindy and Cognism hold five more, every one a direct competitor. Nothing on the first page is written by a party without a stake in the answer.
Among the four questions Google lists under that query is how to cancel a subscription. That is an unusual thing to find attached to a pricing search rather than to a support one.
And the pricing page has nothing to say about it. No contract length, no renewal terms, no cancellation process, no refund policy. Two absences facing each other: the buyer's most common question and the vendor's silence on it. Ask about both in the first call and get the answers written into the contract rather than into an email.
What the product actually is
A search engine rather than a static database. Rather than querying a warehouse someone refreshed last quarter, it goes and looks when you ask, building lists as you browse with a Chrome extension alongside the web app.
That architecture has a real advantage and a real cost, and they are the same fact. Looking things up at request time means the record is as current as the sources were this morning, which is better than a stale row. It also means results vary between searches in a way a fixed database does not, and variance is harder to plan a territory around than a known gap.
So the evaluation is not a feature comparison. It is a sample test: take fifty contacts whose details you already know, run them, and count. Do it before the contract rather than during it, because the sales process here is famously persistent and a trial that starts after a signature is not a trial.
Where it sits against the vendors it competes with
Cheaper than ZoomInfo, less European than Cognism, less legible than Lusha. The category has arranged itself into vendors who publish a price and vendors who do not, and this one has ended up on the wrong side of that line while being sold to the buyers least equipped to negotiate.
There is a version of this product that is a good purchase: a small team that needs phone numbers and emails, gets a quote it can compare, tests the data first and signs something it can exit. Every part of that sentence is achievable. None of it is available from the pricing page.
Setting Seamless.AI Up
Free plan first, then a sales conversation you should prepare for. Fifty credits is fifty contacts researched, which is exactly the size of a sample test if you spend it deliberately.
- Spend the fifty free credits on contacts you already know. Not on prospecting. The only question at this stage is what proportion comes back correct.
- Get the price per credit in writing, not the package price. A package figure you cannot decompose is a figure you cannot compare or renegotiate.
- Ask for contract length, renewal terms and the cancellation process before anything else. They are absent from the page and they are what the public questions are about.
- Ask what happens to unused credits at the end of an annual term, which is the question that decided the Lusha comparison and is unanswered here.
- Put a data-quality threshold in the contract tied to your own sample, so an accuracy problem has a remedy rather than a support ticket.
Strengths and Weaknesses
- The credit definition is the most generous in the category: a phone number and an email together for one credit.
- Real-time search rather than a static database, so records are as fresh as the sources rather than as fresh as the last refresh.
- A free plan with fifty credits, which is enough to run a proper sample test before paying.
- The Chrome extension builds lists inside the workflow reps are already in, rather than beside it.
- Cheaper than the enterprise incumbents for teams that need phones and emails and nothing else.
- No price at any paid tier, on a page that refers to prices it does not display.
- Nothing published on contract length, renewal or cancellation, which is what buyers are visibly asking about.
- Data quality varies more than the incumbents', which is the trade for searching at request time.
- The sales process is persistent, and starts the moment you create a free account.
- No independent page ranks for its own pricing query, so the public record is written entirely by the vendor and its competitors.
Seamless.AI Pricing
No price is published. We print Custom rather than an estimate, a competitor's number, or a range we inferred. The absence is itself information: the price is a negotiation, and you will not know yours until you are in one.
There is nothing to reproduce, so this section is a list of questions instead. Each one is answerable in a first call, and each one is absent from the page.
- What does one credit cost at the volume we would buy, and what does the next thousand cost?
- What is the contract length, and what is the renewal notice period?
- How is a cancellation made, and by when before renewal?
- What happens to unused credits at the end of the term?
- What is the remedy if a sample fails our accuracy threshold?
The reason to ask all five in the same conversation is that they are cheap to ask together and expensive to discover separately. A vendor that answers all five plainly is a vendor worth buying from, whatever the page does or does not say.
The Verdict
A genuinely different architecture — search at request time rather than a warehouse — sold behind a pricing page that references prices it does not show and stays silent on the renewal and cancellation terms its own buyers are searching for, which makes the sample test and the contract questions the entire evaluation.
- You need phone numbers and emails and nothing else the enterprise platforms bundle
- A sample test on contacts you already know comes back accurate enough for your motion
- You can get a per-credit rate and the renewal terms in writing before signing
- Freshness matters more to you than predictability of coverage
- You need to compare prices before entering a sales process
- Your team sells into Europe, where Cognism is built for the job
- You want a published meter you can model, which Lusha provides and this does not
- You cannot get the cancellation terms answered before the contract is signed
